In this scheme, the applicant must be a permanent resident of India, only That can apply for this scheme.
Applicant should be above 18 years of age.
The applicant should not have any ready house/building under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
No member of the applicant’s family should also own the property.
Applicant is not availing any government scheme.
The family should not have a paved house
The applicant and his family must fulfill the income criteria mandated by the scheme and belong to the EWS (Economically Weaker Section), LIG ​​(Lower Income Group), or BPL (Below Poverty Line) category.
Applicant’s family income should be between Rs.3 lakh to Rs.6 lakh.
Any loan amount above 6 lakhs, the interest rate on the excess amount will be as per the market rate.
Under PMAY Gramin, the money is transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary to ensure the house of the poor. In this scheme, the government subsidizes the interest of the home loan to the extent of 02.67 lakh rupees for buying a house.
