Financial & Other Scholarships / Assistantships Gujarat for all categories of bright and needy students to pursue higher education in the state, MYSY like any other scholarships has certain eligibility criteria. Chief Minister Yuva Swalamban Yojana (MYSY) 2022-23 : Chief Minister Yuva Swalamban Yojana is a scheme under which students will get grants for their higher studies. To participate in this scheme, the government has invited online applications so anyone who wants to take advantage of this scheme can apply online. Government of Gujarat will provide scholarships to gifted students who prove their ability under this scheme.
Chief Minister Yuva Swavalamban Yojana (MYSY) Features : [1] – Relaxation in Government Servants – There is 5 years relaxation in age limit for government employees to avail this scheme. [2] – Assistance to Special Areas – Areas which do not have higher education department or government hostels will receive special benefits. For 10 months before they can find their accommodation, they are given Rs. 1200 will be given.

[3] – Additional gear for students – Students studying in higher secondary level will get assistance to purchase books and other educational equipment. Students who are currently at the undergraduate level will receive financial assistance as per the scholarship structure outlined below. [4] – Categories of Students – Almost all students will get this grant. Provided they have attained the specified minimum at their school or college level. Chief Minister Yuva Swavalamban Yojana (MYSY) Scholarship Structure: Grant Amount – The Government will provide the students with Rs. 1 lakh but this amount is for students who are pursuing their degree courses under Gujarat Medical Education Research Society (GMERS) and also pursuing dental courses. For Other Courses – Students pursuing courses like Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Engineering, Nursing, Homeopathy will get half amount as grant. So they only get a maximum of Rs. 50,000 only.
More Course Structure – For students pursuing courses like B.Ed, B.A, B.Sc and more Rs. 10,000 per year as a government grant. Or they can even get half of their college expenses paid. – Whichever government has less. Higher Secondary Students – Students who have passed only 10th standard or 12th standard with marks falling under the qualifying criteria will also get this grant. If you are settled with the courses, you will get Rs. 25,000 per annum or half of your fee – whichever is less.
